Next, we will access the area for any pipes, wires or fittings we do not want to damage and begin excavating the area. All of the digging is completed by ourselves, as to maintain our high-quality standards.
Once the sub base has been laid to a minimum of 4 inches deep we will compact the area to remove the risk of any sinkage of your driveway or patio area.
The next step includes laying kerbs or edging on a solid concrete base to deter any brick movement. It may be necessary to have edging as a retainer, but can also be used decoratively.
The final steps include replacing any drain covers or manholes with recess manholes so as to not affect the look of your driveway area. The final base will be screened and your blocks will be laid in your desired pattern – this is finished off with kiln-dried sand in between the bricks to prevent any movement of the blocks.
